What We Do

Community Resources

Note: Highlighted resources are run by partners within our space. All others are hosted directly by SFNC.

Food Distributions

We hold weekly food distributions on Mondays (9:30-11 AM) and Wednesdays (11 AM-1 PM). Both are free and open to all until supplies run out, but we highly recommend arriving early and bringing your own reusable bags.

Both distributions are made possible by Whole Foods Market's Grocery Rescue Program, with special support on Wednesdays from So What Else. Please contact us (volunteer@stfranciscenter.org) if you would like to volunteer to assist!

Open Computer Lab Hours

Computers, smartphones, and the Internet – along with the skills to effectively and safely use them – are key to success in today’s economy. Residents seeking to make use of our computers and printer for any personal purpose can drop in for Open Lab Hours on Wednesdays from 9 AM - 1  PM or set an appointment with our IT Specialist (mark@stfranciscenter.org). Community members seeking any kind of assistance at all with a PC, phone, navigating the internet, or with any other technology device may also drop in during open hours with no appointment. Free and open to all!

Sheng Zhen Meditation Classes

Relax, Recharge, and Heal - weekly on Thursdays from 10-11 AM in the SFNC Cafe, led by community member Peter Van Buren. These restorative Sheng Zhen Meditation classes at SFNC are free and open to all.

Narcotics Anonymous

This is operated by the NA branch of Baltimore City. The Center provides space and resources to facilitate this program.  Meetings take place on Saturdays from 2:00-3:30 PM in the Center.  They are confidentially led by trained and committed volunteers who have completed the program themselves.  Participants are supported throughout this process in a safe and understanding environment free from judgment and prejudice.

Contact Rodell Bailey El. at  rbaileyel@yahoo.com or 443-475-6696 for more information on this program.
